After the earthquake that hit Christchurch on Saturday 4th September, we spent many moments last week in class watching the news for information on what had happened, why it had happened and what occurred after such a big earthquake had hit.
We used these sites to find out information:
This site (Stuff) provided us with up-to-date reports on what was happening in Christchurch.
This site (Quake Multimedia - Stuff) shows the many earthquakes that have hit Christchurch since the big earthquake at 3.57am on Saturday 4th September.
This site (GeoNet- Earthquakes) provides us with information about earthquakes in New Zealand, past and present.
